Please note that login information from our old registration system is no longer valid. Once you register through our new system, you’ll get access to your own private account to view/edit your contact information and current and past class histories. To Register:

Select/click on the desired Program below [Gray bar(s) below]
Select the Sub-Program tab.
Select the Class
Click on the RedView Days/Times/Cost Button to pick the day and time

June 17, 2013. We are at our max capacity for private lessons in June and it will be difficult to add new clients at this time. We do expect that we will be able to add additional clients in July. If you register for private lessons in June, please note that we will probably not be able to place you with an instructor until July.

Outdoor Summer Swim Lessons through Emory Community Swimming runs from Mid-May through July and is held at the SAAC pool on the Emory Clairmont campus. This program caters to a wide range of ages and ability levels, from Seahorse to Seals. Classes are offered in the late afternoon/early evening through the week and on weekend mornings.

Private swimming lessons are offered year-round by Emory Varsity Swimming and Diving Team members. This program is open to both children and adults.
Our instructors can teach lessons at either the indoor Woodruff PE Center pool (primary site during winter months) or the outdoor SAAC pool (primary site during summer months).
Private Lessons are 30 minutes in duration and the fee is $30.
Semi-Private Lessons (2 swimmers) are 30 minutes in duration and the fee is $50($25 per swimmer).
The Private/Semi-Private lesson program does have an additional annual family registration fee of $20.00. This fee will be applied to the first swimmer you register for lessons.
Packages are available for 1, 5 or 10 lessons.
Once you register and pay online, an instructor will contact you to schedule the first lesson.
UNDER MEDICAL INFORMATION/NOTES, PLEASE ENTER INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SWIMMER. It is helpful if you include some basic information (age, ability level, times/days you want to do lessons, instructor preference if you have one) so we find a good match for the swimmer.
If you don't hear back from an instructor within a week of registering, please email Jon (jphowel@emory.edu) so he can check on the status of the lesson.
Please keep in mind that our private lesson instructors are Emory Varsity swimmers. Transition times between semesters (last 2 eks in April & 1st 2weeks of May, the month of August, and mid-December to mid-January are the most difficult times for us to add new private lesson clients. It may take more than one week to place you with an instructor during these weeks.
This program is very popular and there are times when we can't meet the demand. If we can't place you with an instructor within your timeline, we will always refund.
